‘Legend of the beating heart’ by Golem Dance Cult will make your heartbeat stop.

The band consists of a deathly trio; two childhood friends Charles Why, Laur and Klaus Karlof. Together. Having followed different paths in adulthood, Charles Why, Laur they met at an intersection called life and decided to make music together just like old times. The band explores funky rock theme which has hints of horror dripping down each tune.

“The album ‘Legend of the beating heart’ by ‘Golem Dance Cult’ takes you back to the era when goth was trending and everyone was killing the grunge look!”

The album opens with the track ‘Prologue-Kill the Radio Brat’ which slowly creeps up on you with its haunting slow tunes but it quickly takes an upbeat turn. The electric guitar and the drums shine throughout the song. While this track gives the post- apocalyptic feels, it certainly does make you groove to its beats.

The second song that I really liked was ‘Feels like Tuesday (Deja Vu)’. The track starts out with energetic guitar strings and a clash of cymbals that produce a euphoric moment of pure ecstasy. Moving forward this track makes you feel like you’re stuck in an endless monotonous loop which you can’t get out of, since reliving the same day again and again.

The album ‘Legend of the beating heart’ by ‘Golem Dance Cult’ takes you back to the era when goth was trending and everyone was killing the grunge look! The tracks make you groove with haunting synths ringing in the background creating this sonic seance that gives you the creeps. So if you’re someone who lives for gore and spine-tingling horror, you’ll surely love this album!
