Eamonn Conor – Last Chance Romance: These bouncy pop tunes are gonna make you feel things

Eamonn Conor makes music poised to grab the attention of the ears of the masses. He draws inspiration from the 70s and 80s pop/dance music. The flavor from the defining era for the pop sound as we hear it now is pretty evident in Eamonn’s work. He is shaping Australia’s global representation in music. The artist is combining genres and creating some pleasant tunes that invoke deep emotions like joy, melancholy and celebration. His vocal range is astonishing and the texture fits so well in the genre he sings in. To be honest, his music sounds like it is straight out of a Disney movie. The detailed instrumentalism and crisp sound mixing add a shine to Eamonn’s discography. He using different vocal accents in his songs which make it interesting sonically. You will be served with a variety of music styles when you listen to him. One thing that stood out for me in Eamonn’s music is that it never gets boring. There always is another instrument, rhythm, drum pattern or vocal delivery style waiting for you right around the corner making the listening experience increasingly engaging and fun.

“Fun packed tracks that sound like they came time-travelling all the way from the 70s and the 80s.”

Eamonn’s goal with the ‘Last Chance Romance’ was to bring joy to the listener’s life. He has resultantly made an EP full of fun tracks with interesting instrumental selection and entertaining lyrics. He showcases his skill to glide smoothly on R&B, Funk and Disco type tracks. The immaculate vocal harmonies used to add punch to Eamonn’s vocals sound exactly how they are supposed to and give that pretty 80s vibe. His songs speak for themselves however, I would like to mention a few notable tracks from the EP. The first track shares its name with the name of the EP. It is a rocking dance track that will put you on the groove and make you bop your head for sure.

My favorite track from the EP is ‘If You Were Mine’. Starting with sly and groovy guitar tabs. The laid back drum patters with the singer’s high pitched vocal range take you for a ride. The lyrics say ‘baby if you were mine, then girl I’d give you all my time” expressing the passion of attraction and infatuation. The EP overall is a fun packed, entertaining art piece you would not trying out.
