Wotts have a discography full of pleasant surprises. Each track resonates with me personally on various frequencies. This pop duo from Canada has been fusing the retro-futuristic synth sounds and elements from many different genres. The telephonic vocals add a peculiar accent to the tracks. The description of their sound is difficult because it probably is something I myself have come across for the first time. So, the closest I can get is this- If you like artists like Cigarettes After Sex and TV Girl, you will fall in love with the Wotts.

‘there’ starts with a slow and and moving piano section. The slow groove really catches you off guard. I almost thought it is a solo when to my surprise, I was rewarded with heart-felt vocals glued into the instruments like a heavy rock glued to the ground. The soft drums will hit you the hardest believe me. The cherry on the cake is that towards the end, the track features a small yet significant guitar riff. The signature Wotts’ psychedelic ambience is what you can expect from this track. This one is now my favorite by the duo after ‘WANNABE’ of course.
