Trouble Bunny is an American lo-fi pop artist and the mysterious girl behind her phone in the album cover for her new track, M.D.L.

“Trouble Bunny might be a mystery hidden behind her phone, but she is the voice of people who battle body dysmorphia every day.”

‘M.D.L’ stands for ‘Might Deleted Later’ which is a popular social media slang which is used as a caption when someone posts a spicy picture of themselves. This phrase is usually used playfully but this song uses it as a metaphor to show how some people post a picture and then later feel the need to delete it. This track explores the volatile relationship that one shares with their body image, one minute one could find themselves attractive and then the other minute one might want to hide. The vocals are raw, this rawness showcases Trouble Bunny’s vulnerability beautifully. The music is trippy and catchy with powerful synths and an almost abstract yet constant rhythm.

Trouble Bunny might be a mystery hidden behind her phone, but she is the voice of people who battle body dysmorphia every day. ‘M.D.L’ feels like a song that has the potential of being featured in a series like ‘Euphoria’. So, before the creators of ‘Euphoria’ decide to feature it, give it a listen!
