S3XTON has released their latest song ‘Gravity Misses You’, and we are here to talk about it. S3XTON is the alternative rock project of Nashville-based musician, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Jon Sexton. His songwriting has previously appeared in television and film, and the new project gives him a space to return to melodic alternative rock without chasing trends. Drawing inspiration from the atmospheric worlds of Muse and Radiohead, S3XTON combines powerful guitars, cinematic production, and emotionally driven songwriting.

A stylish man in a black blazer sits confidently on a chair, with one hand raised to his forehead and a thoughtful expression. The scene is illuminated by a spotlight, creating a dramatic atmosphere with a dark, textured background.

“A cinematic alternative rock dream where love feels powerful enough to bend distance, gravity, and reality itself.”

His debut record features songs including ‘Gravity Misses You’, and it immediately feels bigger than a straightforward love song. Sexton takes the familiar feeling of falling for someone and places it inside a strange, dreamlike world where reality seems to shift around one person. The track moves beautifully between intimacy and scale. I love how the atmospheric textures create plenty of space around the melody, while guitars bring that satisfying alternative rock weight. As a debut release, ‘Gravity Misses You’ truly stands out, and you should give this one a listen.
