Tom Minor recently released ‘Bureau of Change,’ another memorable addition to his growing catalogue of what he calls existential indie. Hailing from London, Minor blends indie rock with touches of punk, new wave, power pop, psychedelic rock, soul, and R&B to create exceptional music. His collaboration with producer Teaboy Palmer works beautifully again, giving this song enough room to sound adventurous without ever becoming messy. After hearing the track, it genuinely feels like Tom Minor has found a style that’s completely his own.

“Tom Minor writes songs that laugh at the chaos while quietly making sense of it.”
I absolutely love the thought behind this track. ‘Bureau of Change’ is about questioning the kind of “progress” we are constantly sold and asking whether change is really serving everyone or just those in power. But what grabbed me first wasn’t just the message but the way music keeps transforming alongside. One moment its indie rock, then it slips into ska-inspired two-tone grooves, flirts with tango, brushes past bolero, and somehow circles back, and this is the beauty that Tom creates. Along with the production, the song very well balances humor with frustration. It makes you smile, nod along, and think at the same time. Overall
