It is such an honor to witness such an immense talent from a hip hop artist in this age and time. With the release of “The Testament”, MOZS shows the world what true versatility looks and sounds like. You can see the influences of rap legends like J. Cole, Eminem, and Kanye West, amongst others, in “The Testament”. This hip hop masterpiece is one of the most indulgent albums I have listened to lately. The album is entertaining, but does not forget to carry depth just for the sake of entertainment. MOZS has not forgotten to flaunt his writing skills in this album. The fact that this album was recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered in MOZS’s own bedroom brings some sort of intimacy to this album, and we love it. With “The Testament”, MOZS takes his listeners through so many moods and vibes that it feels like a thrilling roller coaster ride. My personal favorite is “Let’s Go”; it has such a fun and playful vibe, and I was enchanted. MOZS has collaborated with other great talents, DKAY and DJThriller, for this one, and we enjoyed the results. There is a song for everyone in this album; you are sure to find ‘your’ song that will resonate with you, that is how relevant this young artist is.
