4fro Nick returns with their much-awaited “7 Inch Vinyl,” a two-song release that feels like a celebration of living boldly and making every moment count. Behind the project is Nick Anastaskis, the Greek-born, U.S.-based musician whose journey stretches from the island of Crete to New York and now Los Angeles. Those different chapters of his life seem to echo throughout his music, which combines indie rock, alternative rock, soul, and touches of psychedelia with a deeply personal sense of urgency. What stands out most about 4fro is that there is no single force behind it. The “4” replacing the “A” stands for the four musicians at the heart of the project—Nick, Leo, George, and Johnny—who together form the indie rock band. Together, they create indie rock tracks that make you fall in love with authentic music.

“4fro Nick turns nostalgia, honesty, and rock ‘n’ roll spirit into songs that feel alive and kicking.”
“7 Inch Vinyl” is a limited-edition vinyl record dropped by the band. Consisting of two tracks, released as Sides A and B, the songs talk about a common theme: valuing time and embracing life before opportunities slip away. “Don’t Waste My Time (LA Mix)” immediately grabs attention with its confident energy, soulful vocal delivery, and expressive guitar work. The song carries the feel of a personal declaration, turning the simple act of protecting your time into something empowering and uplifting. There’s an emotional honesty running through it that makes the message land naturally rather than feeling preachy.

On the flip side, “Get There Before Noon (LA2 Mix)” offers a slightly different perspective. While it shares the same energy of urgency, it feels more reflective and adventurous. I love how the alternative and psychedelic-rock influences create a loose, free-flowing atmosphere that contrasts beautifully with the directness of the A-side. Together, the songs create a balance between introspection and action. And all this magic is created because the band works so well in cohesion. Leo Genovese’s synth textures, George Athanas’ bass work, and Johnny Radelat’s drumming give both tracks a warm, organic feel. What makes “7 Inch Vinyl” memorable is its sincerity. If you are a fan of heartfelt indie rock, alternative rock, or even soulful writing with an ounce of urgency, you will find plenty to connect with here.
