Stephen Webber recently released ‘Here We Go’, the latest single from his Ukelately project, and it arrives with a wonderfully simple mission: step away from screens and reconnect with people. Webber is an Emmy-winning composer, Grammy-nominated producer, musician, author, and Professor Emeritus at Berklee College of Music, with a career spanning composition, production, turntablism, and music education. His latest release is yet another witty take on a societal issue that needs to be addressed, but Stephen does it in his own playful style.

“Put your pants on, shut the laptop, and let ‘Here We Go’ bring the human connection back.”
Stephen’s songs are quite playful in terms of musicality, but they hold a deep meaning, and ‘Here We Go’ does the same. It effortlessly turns a very familiar post-pandemic experience into something genuinely fun. The lyrics poke at our work-from-home habits with a cheeky sense of humour, but underneath the jokes is a pretty heartfelt message about showing up, seeing people face-to-face, and making music together. The production keeps the playful spirit alive with driving ukulele grooves, lively fiddle and dobro solos, and Zahar’s soaring vocals adding a soulful life to the arrangement. Give ‘Here We Go’ a listen, turn up the volume, and enjoy the track!
