A French-Tunisian multifaceted artist whose creative branches extend across multiple disciplines, Haifa Melliti hails from Montpellier in France and is truly a blessing in disguise for the world. Exploring themes like meditation, inner silence and sacred femininity through her revered soundscapes, she’s truly in a league of her own and has the sole aim to capture your heart. Putting you in an instant state of calm, her sound feels as reflective as clear blue waters.

What feels like an escape, not far from reality but deep into the layers of one’s soul, offers a transformative perspective on reality and everything that shapes it.
“Something feels extremely dreamy and distinct about this album; I just cannot put it into words.” This is what I felt listening to this marvellous sonic experience. Every track feels like a reiteration of Mona Lisa, hiding a lot of depth beneath its surrealism. While ‘L’Appel’, or ‘The Call’ feels like a mysterious retreat into the artist’s mind, ‘Lumiere de la Deese’ feels like an invitation to an ethereal and royal tea party. It’s poised, sophisticated and feels like it’s raining stars in some beautiful corner of the world. ‘Souffle de la Deesee’ or ‘The breath of the goddess’ seems to beautifully extend onto that feeling. What feels like an ecstatic boat ride amidst a beautiful lake, this makes you want to explore and feel one with those around you.
‘Coeur de la Deesse’ is where everything finally mellows down, because it’s the goddess’s heart. It feels like the right kind of pause arriving between a constant period of movement, a good breathing period amidst achieving all the glory. It’s flowy piano also kind of touches upon the endless number of questions that cloud one’s mind during it. Lastly, what feels like a perfect end to this creative menace is ‘Offrande sacree de le deese’. What translates to the divine’s sacred offering feels like a soft treat to your ears. Politely whispering words of gratitude in your mind about the artist, this is everything dreams are made of. Overall, I feel extremely drawn to this instrumental work of art. It is whimsical, pure, and has a lot of substance.
We got a chance to interact with the artist and learn more about them and the release. Here are all the insights we got!: –
- Tell us about the initial concept of this beautiful instrumental masterpiece. How does the final result differ from that idea?
Ans- The initial concept of “Mélodie de la Déesse” was not born from the mind, but from a deep inner silence.I didn’t start with a structured idea… I started with a feeling, a presence, almost like a prayer emerging from within. At first, it was something very intimate, very subtle… but as I allowed myself to fully surrender to the music, the project expanded. The final result became more powerful, more embodied like a living energy rather than just a composition. It transformed from a personal expression into a sacred offering.
2. It’s difficult to say too much without giving anything away, and I feel like this album achieves that. What inspired these beautiful titles?
Ans- The titles came to me the same way the melodies did, intuitively.
Each title is like a key, a vibration, a doorway into a specific emotional and spiritual space. Words like “Déesse”, “Souffle”, “Offrande”, “Lumière” are not just poetic choices… they carry an energy. They reflect the sacred feminine, the invisible, and the connection between the soul and the divine.I wanted each title to feel like a whisper to the listener… something that invites them to feel rather than to understand.
3. For your synths and piano sounds, where do you usually draw inspiration from? Is it people, places, or simply moments in your life?
Ans- My inspiration comes from presence. From silence… from emotions… from unseen dimensions. Sometimes it is a place, like the Mediterranean light, or a sacred space filled with memory.
Sometimes it is a moment, a breath, a feeling, a deep connection with my inner world. But most of the time, it comes from within. I don’t compose… I listen. And then I translate what I feel into sound.
4. In what way does your art reflect you?
Ans- My art is a mirror of my soul. It reflects my sensitivity, my spirituality, my connection to the sacred feminine, and my desire to create beauty that heals. Every note, every painting, every vibration carries a part of my story but also something universal. Through my art, I reveal what cannot always be spoken…a space of softness, strength, light, and transformation.
5. What motivates you most to make music, especially instrumental music?
Ans- What motivates me is the power of music to reach the soul beyond words. Instrumental music allows a pure connection without language, without limits.
It creates a direct dialogue between the artist and the listener’s inner world. I create because I feel called to…to offer something that can soothe, awaken, and reconnect people to themselves.Music, for me, is not entertainment… it is a sacred transmission.
6. How do you want your sound identity to evolve over time?
Ans- I want my sound to evolve like a living journey. To remain authentic, but to expand into deeper, richer, more immersive experiences.
I would love to explore more fusion between piano, sacred sounds, and ancestral instruments… maybe even create live immersive performances where music, art, and presence become one. But no matter how it evolves, I will always stay connected to the essence: truth, emotion, and the sacred.
