Brian Bee Frank is more than a rock icon; he’s here to make a lasting imprint on your soul with his dashing rock tunes. Blessing the world from Sweden, the singer-songwriter legend has got multiple accolades to his name, especially as someone who’s been one with the industry for years. Embarking on a solo career ride now, Brian has previously contributed to a lot of brands with his musical maestro, and now is finally the time for him to shine like the northern star he is! A sound that feels experienced yet new, distinctive yet relatable, it’s truly one for the books!

‘Chasing the Dragon’ is a sonification of the fire and agony we carry as living beings, and it’s truly like a blaze of lightning during a thunderstorm.
We start this sonic journey with the electrifying laments of the intro track ‘Hate’. This is vile, unhinged and brutal in the best way. This feels like witnessing an emotional ensemble of someone who has trapped them deep within the realms of the mind. This is fierce, carefree and also a bold stand against one’s haters. ‘LIVING IN THE CHANGES’, however, feels like a shift in the dynamic. This is where the EP gravitates toward a funkier direction, as it’s nothing but punk paranoia come to life. An ode to adaptability in life, this feels like a burst of angst toward the modern changes we witness around us.

However, the direction of the EP completely shifts gears at ‘TIME’. A moment of self-reflection mixed with a sound that makes you feel one with adventure, this is almost nothing like the previous true tracks, and feels like a bridge in the album, until the final electric guitar breakthrough happens. But a track where a dancer would absolutely lose it is ‘SHAKE IT LOOSE’. This mixes groovy funks into the basic theme of rock, and its fast-paced and super cool rhyme schemes almost feel like a jam-packed thrill scene from a movie or something. Last but not least, ‘LET ME COME HOME’ feels like a moment of missing one’s home. It reminds you that, despite all the adventure, all one secretly craves is the solace and embrace of loved ones, because after witnessing and experiencing all the colours, we need what we’re used to eventually. Overall, I feel like this project is every rock lover’s dream, and will especially be adored for its versatility and depth.
