Morgan Bryant’s latest release, ‘Praying for You,’ will heal a lot of things; such is the music of this artist. Morgan is an independent artist from Anna Maria, Florida, whose music is shaped by faith, family, hope, and her connection to the Gulf Coast. She regularly performs across Anna Maria Island and the Tampa Bay area, and has also performed the National Anthem at a Pittsburgh Pirates and New York Yankees game. Each year, Morgan leads the Easter sunrise service on Anna Maria Island, performing for audiences of around 3,000 to 4,000 people. Her music focuses on honest stories, emotional connection, and finding hope through different seasons of life.

Written in just an hour, the song came from Morgan thinking about her children, Lily and Finn, and wanting to protect them from the hurt life can bring. It begins with one mother praying for her children and gradually feels like Morgan is extending that same love and protection towards everyone listening. There is warmth in the way she approaches the words, and that makes the song even more connecting.
