“The Communal Well’s recent album “Bound To Break” is a platter, filled with flavors to choose from according to your mood!”

The Communal Well have recently released their latest album “Bound To Break” which is constituted of 14 songs. It is dedicated to the themes of resilience and renewal. The entire album captures the nitty-gritties and that heavy-hearted feeling of starting over, after relationships that are built on lie break. Echoing the sentiments of Pere Seeger’s We Shall Overcome, the album sighs at the inherent cruelty of life but throws light on the importance of forgiveness, acceptance and rebuilding for life to go on. Each song in this album is handcrafted to act as a beacon light of hope, a supportive guide through the journey of life, offering solace and strength. The opening track “Come In” is quite jovial and sets the atmosphere to a romantic warmth. “Virgil” is calmer, progresses more gravely. It has a tinge of nostalgia, almost on the verge of being melancholic but the sweet instrumentalization saves it.  “Sentimental Fool” again strikes a higher note. It is heavy with the undertone of acceptance without resistance, an important aspect to learn for the continuity of life. The eponymous track “Bound To Break” is a quintessential pop anthem, perfectly groovy and upbeat. The composition and lyrical content of the entire album is a comforting presence, much like a crutch that supports one through difficult times. “Bound To Break” speaks to the human condition and that is what makes this album so special!

If you are looking for a new comfort song, this album has a list for you choose from!
