An electric solo bassist emerging from the streets of the Lower East Side of Manhattan, Hari Nandu chooses instrumental and orchestral music as an outlet for expressing emotions, and in the process, attempts to console and accompany those who feel the same.
His debut release “Sedona” is a fusion of classical and jazz fragments and elements composed with Hari’s skills on a five-string bass and the fretless Zon Hyperbass, that make it sound elegiac and energetic.

“Sedona is a piece that keeps you in grief of a difficult loss, and while the song continues, the musical elements also present you with the power of hope.”
This work of art by Hari Nandu was composed in memory of his friend’s child Sedona, who had passed away this year. The primary purpose of this song is to raise awareness for cerebral palsy.
Music serves as a healing touch in times of intense grief, and for Hari, “Sedona” is a musical artwork that gives him peace and comfort. With “Sedona,” he hopes anyone who listens to it may get the bliss of catching a glimpse of her beautiful spirit and be a part of her ‘butterfly effect’.
