What was originally meant to be a series of simple songs featuring kick drums ended up becoming a weird sonic odyssey titled “15913.” The album opens with “Be Yourself Tamiko” a song about a girl summoning a Japanese Sea God to splash water on a friend that dissed her, it sets tone for what can be expected ahead from the album. This sensory delight is followed by “Body” which draws you in with thumping beats that gradually increase in tempo and take you through the experience of a a French Ballerina who is frozen by fear.
