Minda Lacy has a knack for creating mesmerising and catchy melodies that stay with you, and her lively lyricism filled with witty lines highlight the silliness of serious things and the seriousness of silly things.
“Minda’s dreamy voice put on the fusion of Country and Blues music creates folksy vibe that offers a ethereal listening experience that must be witnessed by all.”
The album opens with it’s title track “Loneliest Bug” which starts with mesmerising old school acoustic guitar and violin which is subtle yet powerful enough to draw you in, but just as you are immersing yourself, Minda’s haunting vocals sweep you off your feet. The folksy theme is prevalent throughout the album with the acoustic instrumentation carrying the listener forward seamlessly and leaving them mesmerised, relaxed and rejuvenated.
Minda’s lyrics are poetic, heartfelt and relatable for all, her track “It’s Ok” is perhaps my favourite because of it’s breezy lyrics. Another track that stood out for me was “Time” which has a hypnotic flow. Minda’s dreamy voice put over the fusion of Country and Blues music creates a folksy vibe that offers a ethereal listening experience that must be witnessed by all. I highly recommend you put this album on right away.
