The London-based group is led by vocalist and founder Glen Brandon ‘Ziggy’, alongside bassist Paul Gold and guitarist Jaime Page. Their music draws from rock and commercial pop, while their wider identity is rooted in spirituality, positivity, and rebellion.

‘LIGHT OF BLUE “Sugar Ocean Girl”’ is a song that sets you free from the clutches of something that is holding you back. It has that feeling of a summer afternoon by the ocean, with a commercial pop-rock approach that keeps the track accessible while leaving room for its bigger ideas. Beneath the easy-going surface, Ziggy gives the song a more philosophical edge. The ‘Light of Blue’ becomes a symbol of positivity, togetherness, and the idea of keeping your inner frequency bright even when the world around you feels increasingly chaotic. We also got a chance to interview the artist, here’s some candid conversation:
1.You have built The Mess:Age around rock, positivity, spirituality, and rebellion. What part of your own personality do you think comes through most strongly in the music and the message you put forward?
Spirituality and the determination to awaken and enlighten the masses, as we are all born free. Therefore, no authority has any rights over one’s life whatsoever. All three traits are deep-rooted within my mind, body, and soul, as life is way too short. Therefore, live it just like Jimmy Dean and as though this will be your last day. Focus upon your dreams and goals and go for it. Don’t let any robot in uniform or dik-tat become your master, as you are most certainly not their slave.
2. ‘LIGHT OF BLUE “Sugar Ocean Girl”’ has a breezy summer feel while carrying a much deeper message about positivity and staying connected in a chaotic world. How did you bring those two sides of the song together?
Well, firstly, to get people to listen, they must be able to enjoy the music. Therefore, I decided to create something catchy, commercial, and uplifting, and then ingrain The Mess:Age within by planting lyrics with a double meaning, as “Words Are More Powerful Than Knives,” especially when written from years of “factual study and research,” with truth and from the heart.
3. The ‘Light of Blue’ becomes a symbol of keeping your inner frequency bright and looking beyond the noise around us. What does that idea mean to you personally, and when did it become central to this song?
I detest violence, hatred, war, division, racism, political correctness, and especially LIARS. After 9/11, I fully awakened, and then came COVID, which put the nail in the coffin with regards to MED-DIA AND POLITICAL PUPPETS.
Therefore, it was then that I decided to never ever let anything or anyone stand in the way of my creative inner talents, thoughts, and human Spiritual LOVE VIBE FROM WITHIN, as my spirit is immortal and music is my weapon of choice, as it is, in fact, a timeless vibration, as is The United-Verse. Therefore, The Light Of Blue, for me, represents Almighty God’s Orgone Energy, which is found in all living things. It is the Lightning Bolt from within that ignites through birth, death, and re-birth.
4. There is a clear sense of freedom and togetherness running through the release, alongside The Mess:Age’s rebellious spirit. What do you hope listeners take away when they experience the song on their own terms?
Make of it what you will. Enjoy it as a “Summer Anthem”; however, remember at the same time that I have done 25 years of research, was one of the very first whistleblowers, and that global warming is a total LIE and chem-trails are destroying Almighty God’s creation: trees, birds, insects, fish, and Man. The aluminium, barium, and strontium, “ALONG WITH GRAPHENE OXIDE PLACED IN OUR TAP WATER,” in my opinion, actually microwaves you from inside out, [hence COVID-like symptoms and the massive rise in cancer]. THEY TRACK YOU, TARGET YOU VIA SATELLITE, YOUR MOBILE PHONE, WIFI, AND SAT/NAV. THEREFORE, DO NOT BOW DOWN LIKE SHEEPLE. WAKE UP, RISE UP, FOR YOU ARE YOUR OWN MASTER. The Light Of Blue is Within You. BECOME FEARLESS. “Know Ye Enemies Of Almighty God.”
5. This release comes from your second album, ‘AGE OF MESS’, which carries the wider identity of The Mess:Age. How does ‘LIGHT OF BLUE “Sugar Ocean Girl”’ fit into the bigger world and message you are creating through the album?
Light Of Blue is only the beginning of a musical mission and long journey. It is only a tiny part of what’s to come, as music is a very powerful unseen force that those in power have been using against the masses to divide us, dumb us down, or make us look stupid and bring some of us to lower levels and standards, causing race hatred and division. Placing pornography along with demonic symbolism to brainwash the young generation, The Mess:Age Music basically reverses this and untangles “The Wheat From The Tares” and points you in the “righteous” direction.
6. You are already working on ‘Speed Of Light’ and ‘ALIGNMENT’, with a global tour planned for 2028. What can listeners expect from this next chapter, and how is your creative process evolving as The Mess:Age continues forward?
The Mess:Age creative process derives from Almighty God, as He is my guide, as I channel My pure-blood Christ from within and I’m completely Focussed and ON TARGET. As both albums are now, in fact, fully written, therefore, as one might say, THE BEST IS YET TO COME …ha ha. Watch This Space… However, I will leave you with a Mess:Age from my uncle.
