1. How does your personal journey influence your musical journey?
My personal journey and my musical journey overlap; in fact, they move together. To be honest, I do not always know where the journey is leading, but I continue to search, and along the way, I gain new insights about myself and about life.
As you mentioned, my sound is influenced by many different styles. These are the kinds of music and traditions that I listen to and connect with personally. In my own work, I try to respond to what they awaken in me and to the inspiration they give me. For me, these influences are not separate worlds, but different parts of the same inner search.
2. What was the realization that inspired your creative and spiritual journey?
I believe a beautiful realization opened within me, almost like a doorway into a deeper state of consciousness. But I did not stop there or see it as a final answer. I continue to search and try to understand my place in creation and in the universe, as well as the inner processes I must go through in this lifetime in order to move toward a fuller spiritual awakening.
3. How do you try to bring simplicity into your creative work and everyday life?
With all my heart and all my strength, while also trying not to force anything, I seek to preserve simplicity in both my creative work and my life. I try to appreciate and enjoy the simple things because I believe that this is where both heaven and the Divine can be found.
4. How did you balance technology and the human element while working with Lior Medan?
Lior Medan, my creative partner, is deeply drawn to the worlds of technology and artificial intelligence, while I am more old-school in my approach. Yet because of the special connection and trust between us, these two perspectives came together very naturally. In my view, the technology served the song, while its human heart and warmth remained at the center.
5. How does your everyday work influence your understanding of life and spirituality?
Every day, the world is new, and every day, I am renewed as well. For a living, I support people coping with mental health challenges, and the work can be extremely demanding and exhausting. I help feed and care for them, and sometimes assist them with changing soiled clothes, alongside a group of people whom I regard as truly holy.
For me, the challenge is to find heaven within that intensity and difficulty, not somewhere apart from it. I continue to work on this and search for it. Sometimes I succeed, and sometimes I do not.
6. What can listeners expect from your upcoming music?
Looking ahead, my next song will explore an old love and the experience of growing older. If everything goes well, I will probably sing it myself. The song was written around the bass guitar, and it has a really cool feel. I hope the audience will enjoy it.
As for future collaborations, I do not know yet. Whatever comes next will naturally be guided by the needs of the music and the songs.
I am already looking forward to working on it.
