1. Your work seems deeply connected to healing, truth, and emotional restoration. What personal experiences or beliefs have shaped the artist you are today and the messages you feel called to share?
My work is shaped by my own journey of healing, self-love, self-honesty, and self-acceptance. Healing from gaslighting required me to question what I believed, what I was taught, what I accepted, and what I needed to release in order to return to myself.
Truth is very important to me. I see truth as something that can withstand questions. It does not need fear, control, or performance to survive. That belief has shaped the way I write and the way I approach life.
The messages I feel called to share often come from the places where I have needed healing, clarity, or restoration myself. I write about boundaries, grief, self-worth, emotional honesty, and inner peace because those are part of my own life practice. Through music, I want to create space for listeners to feel seen, supported, and empowered.
2. ‘Peaceful Power’ approaches self-acceptance by embracing both our light and our dark sides. What made you want to explore this idea through music at this particular point in your journey?
‘Peaceful Power’ came from my journey of learning to accept myself more fully. I realized there were parts of me I rejected, judged, or hid, and those same parts needed acknowledgment, understanding, and integration.
I understand light and dark as symbolic language, not moral judgment. Light may represent what is visible, expressed, or easily accepted, while dark may represent what is hidden, misunderstood, protective, or still waiting to be understood. One is not better than the other. Both are part of the full self, and both deserve neutral honor.
That realization became important because I was learning to stop fighting myself. I began to understand that wholeness is not about dividing myself into acceptable and unacceptable parts. It is about meeting the full self with honesty, acceptance, and respect. ‘Peaceful Power’ became a way to express that inner integration through music.
3. The song carries themes of inner-child healing, ancestral connection, and wholeness without making the listener feel overwhelmed. How did you balance these deeper ideas with the calm and comforting sound of the track?
I allowed the message to lead while making sure the sound created space for reflection. The themes in ‘Peaceful Power’ are deep, so the atmosphere needed to feel warm, grounded, and emotionally restorative.
Inner-child healing, ancestral connection, and wholeness can bring up powerful emotions. I wanted the music to hold those ideas in a way that felt supportive rather than heavy. The contemporary R&B and soul influences helped bring warmth and emotional depth, while the healing-centered atmosphere gave the song a calm and intentional feeling.
The balance came from letting the lyrics carry the depth while allowing the sound to offer breath, steadiness, and reassurance. I wanted listeners to feel invited into reflection, not overwhelmed by it.
4. There is a beautiful shift in the idea that healing is not about becoming worthy, but remembering the worth that was already there. What do you hope listeners understand about themselves after sitting with this message?
I hope listeners understand that their worth was present from the beginning. “We were always perfect, whole, complete” is a reminder that healing is not always about becoming someone new. Sometimes healing is a return to the truth of who we were before criticism, expectations, and inherited standards taught us to question ourselves.
We often look at babies and see beauty, purity, and perfection. Then, as those same babies grow, they are met with judgment, comparison, and expectations. That makes me ask, “What changed, and who decided they were insufficient?”
I hope listeners remember that they can grow, heal, change, and still be worthy now. Their difficult seasons, scars, and unfinished places do not erase their inherent worth. ‘Peaceful Power’ invites them to reconnect with the value that was always there.
5. Your music brings together songwriting, creative direction, healing, and AI-assisted production. How do you decide where technology should support your vision and where the human emotion behind the message needs to take the lead?
The message always leads. My songs begin with the emotional truth, the concept, the lyrics, and the purpose behind the release. Technology supports that vision, but it does not replace the heart of the work.
I am the songwriter and creative director behind Divine Purpose Music. I do not perform the vocals myself. I use AI-assisted production and AI-generated vocals to help bring the creative vision into a finished musical experience. Transparency matters to me because listeners deserve to understand the creative process.
For me, technology has expanded the ways a songwriter can deliver a song. I decide where it belongs by asking whether it serves the message. The sound, vocal feeling, arrangement, and atmosphere all need to align with the emotional intention of the song. When the technology supports the truth of the writing, it becomes part of the creative process.
6. As Divine Purpose Music continues to grow, what would you love to explore next, whether through new healing-focused releases, collaborations, live experiences, or a completely different creative direction?
I want to continue creating music that supports healing, self-connection, emotional restoration, and personal empowerment. Divine Purpose Music began with ‘Peaceful Power’, and each release continues building a larger body of work centered on truth, reflection, self-acceptance, and returning to oneself.
I would love to explore deeper visual storytelling, intentional music experiences, affirmation-based projects, and creative resources that help listeners feel grounded and supported. I am also open to collaborations that align with the heart of the mission, especially with people who value healing, honesty, creativity, and emotional depth.
As Divine Purpose Music grows, I see it becoming more than a catalog of songs. I see it becoming a space where music, reflection, purpose, and community meet. I am allowing the next direction to unfold with honesty, alignment, and trust.
