The Fuzz is Nom De Plume for Italian singer and songwriter Federico Di Lorenzo. He has been a bass player, guitarist, and blues harpist for several bands before finally quitting all his band projects to venture solo with his single music projects. His first solo album “Nighthorse” was released in November, embarking him on a new musical journey. “48” is a part of the “Nighthorse” album and we got the opportunity to listen to it and we were stunned by the brilliance of it, we are excited to finally review it for all of you here at Muse Chronicle.
“The Fuzz brings raw, unfiltered music that touches the soul and speaks the artist’s truth with his single 48.”
There are many things about “48” that make it a great song, like the fact that it was recorded live giving it a human connection with its imperfections in recording and the rawness of the sound, the unfiltered lyrics that pierce through the skin, and touches the bones before finally touching the listeners’ souls and of course the harmonica along with minimalistic guitar and percussion that makes this song eerily beautiful. But what holds all of the overwhelming beauty of the song together is The Fuzz’s eccentric vocals and his husky voice. Listen to this gritty beauty for yourself and decide how much you like it.
