Based out of Omaha, Multi-instrumentalist producer Steven Wayne Smith started a solo music project called Kilravock, an alternative persona by Steven that will express the artist’s inner thoughts and feelings through music. The first work under this project is two simultaneous releases “Incompatibility” and “Working Class Hero”. While Incompatibility was entirely performed by Kilravock, “Working Class Hero” is the result of the joint work of Kilravock with his musician friends and “The Alliterates” bandmates Sean Soucy on guitar, David Dick on vocals, and Anna Schmidt on Co-vocals.
“Kilravock’s first official release has set a benchmark for his upcoming work, achieving excellence with finely crafted yet chaotic music.”
What do you do when you are frustrated at society’s odd ways? You make a song or two out of it, like Kilravock did. The artist’s latest release, Incompatibility ][ Working, is a collection of two rebellious songs at their heart. While “Incompatibility” is an original work, “Working Class Hero” is an interesting rendition of John Lennon’s song by the same name. Both songs feel very mighty with their powerful vocals and electrifying instruments in the background, this thought-provoking release captures the true essence of rock music. While “Incompatibility” feels intentionally deranged and raw, “Working Class Hero” has more anthemic energy. Go now and give this release a listen.
