He is an incredible singer who aptly regulates and modulates his voice to fit the theme and feel of the song. He is also an amazing mouth organ player. His debut album- Silver Linings gained much appreciation form many folk music listeners.
“Al Shalliker lets us know what we can expect from the ‘The Diamond Hill’ album. A higher inclination towards country music can be seen in the track and probably the album too.”
‘Time Out Of Mind’ is the first release from Al’s next album ‘The Diamond Hill’. The raw guitars add a peculiar texture to the song. Al sings in an incredible voice and sings with the emotions that the song demands. The mouth organ work on this one is pretty dope too. The rawness has been captured in the song. The guitar lets you catch the groove in the intro of the song and you will not loose it till the very end of the song.
