Monotronic’s recent single, “Sun Song” is a tranquil charm!

NYC-based Indie band, Monotronic is the brainchild of guitarist and producer Ramsey Elkholy. His musical vision was shaped by his two-year backpacking journey across India and Southeast Asia where he studies Indian music in Calcutta. His experience with the Orang Rimba tribe in the rainforests of Sumatra, Indonesia has led to the genesis of “collective” mode of life which is the principle of his band as well. He encourages each musician to contribute their own creativity to the band’s music. The band’s singles “Kids of Summer” and “Buy Yourself a Dream” have debuted at #1 on VEVO’s Incoming Indie playlist.

“Monotronic’s latest song, “Sun Song” is unhurried, and allows you to breathe amidst a chaotic mess.”

Monotronic’s recent release, “Sun Song” begins with an evocative guitar riff that sets the tone for the track to unfold. The introspective lyrics make the song feel like moments frozen in time when the listener can let go of his/her past regrets. The punchy drums, the energetic percussions, and the electronic synths all combine to transform Elkholy’s spontaneous morning inspiration into a cohesive whole. The track is one that will make you feel comfortable sitting all by yourself just listening to it.

If you enjoy easy-going feel in music, then this song is the perfect fit for you!
