Cover Art of Single Hand in My Pocket by Down South Pepper Band

Hand in my Pocket by Down South Pepper Band Catches You Right in The Feels.

Down South Pepper band (aka DSP band) is a two-man band from Kvalsund, Norway that plays catchy outlaw country music. The core members of the band are Rune Nyby and Per Øyvind Mathisen but they have often collaborated with different musicians for their various songs. Most of the songs they make are inspired by things they observe and experience, and often the songs are about actual people and incidents they have come across.

Hand In My Pocket talks about a very rare and serious topic in a super fun and catchy way

Down South Pepper released their single Hand in My Pocket recently and it is one of those rare gems that needs to get to way more people than it already has. The song has all that it takes to make a great country song. The music is very upbeat and super catchy, and the lyrics are easy to understand yet it talks about a very complex issue a rich man faces which no one wants to talk about because for them it is always easier to make the rich look like bad guys. The song is about how the rich are always surrounded by people who care about only the money these people come with. Yes, it is that interesting. Before I keep talking about how great the song is, you should go and listen to it for yourself.
