We had a chance to have a little chat with Helene and here’s how it went –

1.) What advice would you give to emerging musicians looking to establish themselves in the industry?

-Its a marathon not a sprint. Work hard and constistantly. Make music for the genre you love (focus on your genre, it will provide for you), aim at pleasing that audience first, then yourself. Give the the familiar with a twist. Remember its a living, not a hobby. Dont do things half.

2.) How do you use technology in your music production and performances?

-I particularly love the ‘stem extractive AI’ to see into the heart of the performance (vocal and music) to the essence of the musician. AI can reveal many secrets in the mix, and techniques of a producer and performer. Very inspirational.

3.) Can you share a moment in your career that you consider a turning point or a significant milestone?

-Discovering Electronic Dance for the first time, and latr the understanding that it is possible to make a living from music only.

4.) What is the most rewarding aspect of being a musician for you?

-No Day Job. For me Life is an adventure of my own making, good times and bad times. Balance in the forces that tempt, and the forces that reward, the contast craving for both. The most rewarding is at the start of the day I can choose how to fill the day.

5.) How do you balance the business side of your music career with the creative aspects?

-Work as hard as possible to make time for both. Take care of both equally. Learn from others that are succeeding. Seek advise, the internet offers many advisors, and experts that can help. (Always read the reviews). Creative is my escape, and the business side is the work. I always look forward to those moments for creation.

The release of “Heaven (We Just)” is another evidence of her commitment to making music that touches listeners’ hearts and feet. Feel the rhythms, groove along, and be a part of the musical celebration of life. Check out the muse down here:
