Joe Lington is a singer and pianist who found success in the R&B/Soul genre after studying with Lisa Gold Gervais. At the same time, he learned the ins and outs of music production, mixing, and mastering. He quickly developed a taste for R&B and Soul music, which led to the production of his own material that pays respect to Sisqo and Keith Sweat while still including his own distinctive sound. Joe performs in French, English, and his native Cameroonian.

“WTPA is a story narrated through beautiful music.”

EP opener “WTPA” (short for “Where The Party At”) is a club-themed R&B single . The production on this song is the highlight part, with a continually lively and up-tempo atmosphere, and unique song structure binds it all together fairly beautifully. The second song, “Pinkeen,” is fast-paced, almost explosive energy of the first, with big synth bass lines, bright pianos, that take on a nice, soft 70s pop vibe. A French ballad called “Hypocrisy” closes up “WTPA” and has a mellow, serenading, mild groove that provides a solid backbone for the smooth R&B vocals that follow.

“WTPA” is an enthralling musical journey that spans borders in terms of cultural diversity, language, and sentiment. Catch the muse down here:
