Heavy Drunk’s You Don’t Know Me: An intoxicating journey through soul-jazz melodies.

Reviving the big soul band, Ron Robinson and his talented team have released their new album “You Don’t Know Me”. Once again, he has collaborated with Grammy winner Casey Wasner, who handled the recording and mixing. Roy Agee, Emmanuel Echem, and Evan Cobb make up the Heavy Horns, infusing the music with their incredible tones. The rhythm section is held down by the brothers Ted and John Seigel of The Deltaz, with Alison Prestwood and Brian Allen taking turns on bass.

“Burning fires within the world of jazz, soul, and Americana, HeavyDrunk has crafted a musical anomaly that transports you to a realm of harmony.”

“You Don’t Know Me” is an exemplary twelve-track album. The vocals make you feel warm and comforting and make you think about feelings and experiences you never even knew resided within your heart and brain. The trumpets and percussion add a divine, soulful taste to the delicious compositions cooked by the band.

From the beginning until the end, the project takes you on a rollercoaster of sounds and domains with scenery so beautiful you would lose your mind and surrender to the music.
