Hailing from the rancid shores of the the Gowanus canal “The Tracys” are quartet of punk rockers who were raised on 80’s punk with a side of maple syrup.

“If you are a fan of punk rock and you haven’t yet heard this riveting album by The Tracys you are missing out.”

As their 10th anniversary was nearing, The Tracys released their fourth and final full-length album, titled “Welcome To The Land of Nothing”,

Fasten your seatbelts for a punkiest rock journey, with humorous turns and impeccable instrumentation which make your ride smooth as you lose yourself to the scenic beauty of the land of nothing. The album opens with “Candy from a baby” which perfectly sets the mood for the rest of the album. Followed by a story driven track “Bully Bully Blockhead”, where the guitar work by John Payne and Larry Mancini really shines. “A Soviet Mistake” is a track that I really enjoyed and played multiple times. In “Guns and God” you wouldn’t know what hit you as you are living every single beat of this fast paced song. Matt Ernst did an exceptional job on the drums in “Modern Day Society”. The title track “Welcome to the land of Nothing” literally gave me goosebumps as I found myself head-banging throughout. The closing track”Dance Machine” leaves you on high craving for more of The Tracy’s. The album is as fun as the titles are, If you are a fan of punk rock and you haven’t yet heard this riveting album by The Tracys you are missing out.
