Making music a vent for people’s hearts, Love Ghost has released the first track of their upcoming project made with Swedish musician and producer Tim Sköld. With this new production, Bell (Love Ghost) claims to have had a great experience working with Sköld, acknowledging his magical skills which brought the song to life. This collaboration is a noteworthy one, something to keep track of for its next hits. The new single ‘Payback’ is about revenge, redemption, and love gone astray, a conceptualization for Bell’s brain after just having come out of a tough relationship.

“Payback is an intoxicating track, loaded with pique and vexation, emitting the artists’ emotions in every shade.”

Tim’s hand in the production of ‘Payback’ shimmers with the rhythm of the song. The perfectly positioned guitar strums and beats give room for the vocals to reach their true amount of significance. ‘One more reason to get high’, the artist sings, expressing the frustration and misery one endures in a toxic, trapping relationship. The power-driven drums are the heart of the track, giving it an impactful structure. In addition to all these ingredients, there comes a small section with the electric guitar in the record that tilts the atmosphere to a more hazy altitude.

The Los Angeles-based band, Love Ghost, catches the listener’s attention quickly through their mystical rock-blended melodies, that are informed by both Seattle tradition and Soundcloud-era fearlessness. Be sure to stream their work!
