Brewed together by the four-member post-punk band Mooncult, ‘Ghost Song’ is a track with an easygoing flow, exhibiting the wonders of alternative rock-pop music. Mooncult is a Brooklyn-based band with songwriter Raven Mystere, Rajeev Ananda on lead guitar, Tia Cestaro on drums, and Grover Doyle on bass/rhythm guitar with a quintessential chemistry. Apart from this latest single, the band had released a fabulous album ‘Swallow Me Whole’ with some very notable tracks, and have also announced that Ghost Song would be the first of six singles we can expect from the band this year.

“A track filled with psychedelic energy and catchy melodies and head-banging rhythm.”

‘Ghost Song’ is a track tuned with fierce guitar strums and aggressive trap drums, with a unique pop-rock melody leaving the audience enchanted with darkness and bouncing heads. The artists tend to draw their lyrics from the concepts of love, death, betrayal and existentialism and are known for their energetic and intense live performances worldwide. The exhilarating strings played at the beginning of the track is my favorite part which helps build up a dramatic entry to the cosmos created by Mooncult. The band is already all set to release a couple or more brilliant and energy-filled EPs this year and I honestly can’t wait.

‘Ghost Song’ is a mesmerizing painting of sounds and sentiments blended together making the accurate shade to fill your life with.
