Cooked by the coolest trio of Spencer Moody, Brian Yeager, and Jeff Alvarez, collectively known as M. Krebs, the extraordinary album “Peggy Lee” is certainly an amazing project showcasing a bare voyage of funk, country and rock music. The members of M. Krebs individually have had some wonderful experiences in their past by being a part of numerous bands. The Murder City Devils, Dead Low Tide, Smoke and Smoke, The Cute Lepers, Deep Creep, and Medicine Bows to name a few, were some of the notable ensembles that the artists have been a part of individually, as well as together.

“Peggy Lee undeniably houses the essence of music in its truest form.”
Recorded in Seattle, Washington, and N. Kohala, Hawaii, the album “Peggy Lee ” is a twelve-song work of art which specializes across a group of genres ranging from alternative rock to punk. The earnest voice of the artists intertwined together with the slow yet grave drumbeats interpretate a sense of post punk vibe hoarded between the bars of the tracks. The tracks ‘John Prine’ & ‘Eyes in The Back of Her Head’ give a boost of mischievous energy to the crimson running in your veins and are my honestly my personal favorite.
The album makes a distinct familiar connection with the listener and traps them in a musical fantasy. All the tracks have been created very smoothly and are the most ideal songs to be added in a playlist for a countryside road trip.
