The song “Smile” is about David admiring his ex’s smile. Despite his best efforts to keep the song lively, the chord progressions and melodic choices make it difficult to smile when listening to it. The song has a Radiohead-like melancholy to it thanks to the chord progressions, vocal delivery, and melodic selections.

” David would surely make you giggle with his Smile. “
A Beatles song might have a better fit for the pace and the delectable harmonies. This unusual, enthralling tune that touches the listener’s core is created when you combine these incongruous noises (Magic!). With the somewhat overdriven guitar sound and vocals in the opening, it sounds extremely unpolished (intentionally), but it becomes more polished as additional instruments come in. The song featured diverse instrumentation by Michael Holcroft, Dan Brown, Alex Kirkpatrick, and Angus Kirkpatrick.
David, however, was the one who led the song with honest emotion and skilled singing on vocals and rhythm guitars. Michael Holcroft, an engineer and drummer, and David produced the record.
One of the twelve songs David has recorded for the album he plans to release is titled “Smile,” and it is one of the twelve songs he recorded. Listeners should eagerly anticipate this album if “Smile” is any hint of how amazing it will be.
