Filip Dahl is a Norwegian composer and multi-instrumentalist who is known for his ever evolving sound that caresses the heart. He began his musical career in the 1970s as the lead guitarist in numerous Norwegian rock bands before developing into a renowned engineer and record producer. During the 1980s and 1990s, he was one of the key founders and proprietors of Trondheim’s highly esteemed and prosperous Brygga Studio. His genre bending approach towards music is what sets him apart from the crowd.

I recently discovered this artist through his latest release named ‘Can You See the World’ which is a beautiful piece. Dahl himself created and recorded the tune, which features powerful transitions. Even though it is primarily instrumental, he manages to give this track a certain depth that is immersive. Dahl applies his experience and knowledge to his music resulting in a sound that is deeply moving. The track packs some intricate guitar melodies blended with some soulful drums.
