Mike Cole, also known as M-Dot on the mic. Hip-hop and underground rap are his two main loves and passions. He records tracks in the studio, collaborates with other musicians, writes his own songs, and plays live. This artist recently released his first track on all the major streaming platforms, the track is named ‘One Day At a Time’. This is surely one of those tracks that will seep into your skin and evoke vivid emotions in your heart.

On November 12, 2021, the song was released. It’s a conscious hip-hop/R&B song with a background melody of piano and saxophone that has a mellow, upbeat, reflective, and storytelling tone (produced by independent beatmaker, Omito Beats, shout out to Timothy Izzard at Omito Beats). It conveys a deep message and has a captivating rhythm with the lyrics “spat me,” which feature a strong vocal hook performed by Mary-eL (Mary Lankford). Tyler Schafer, a skilled sound engineer and inventive pop musician, professionally recorded and mixed the vocals at Cue Recording Studios. For the hook and verses, M wrote and composed both the words and the tune. This is surely one of the best tracks that I’ve come across in a while.
