Laura Dannan is a singer- songwriter from Hertfordshire, UK. Songs with humorous insights into life’s hardships and tribulations are created by her distinctive narrative style and approachable lyrics, which blend storytelling with the utilisation of vivid imagery. Following her initial drum lessons, Laura started a popular YouTube drummer interview series and vlog called “Drum Quest.” Later, during the 2020 lockdown, she trained herself to play the guitar and developed a fascination for songwriting. I recently discovered this artist through her latest release which is her second track and the track is named ‘Little Gray’. This is a track about the artist’s old car that she bought back in 2004 that she sold to upgrade to an electric car. There are some things in life that we value, love and cherish. Letting them go is never easy and emotions often evoke once that thing is gone. This track beautifully picturises such vivid emotions and much more. The mellow guitars are a perfect match for the subtle vibe of the track. Overall, the track is an amazing one, give it a go if you like.
