Golem Dance Cult | Dalek Rhetoric

Golem Dance Cult is a 2-man Industrial Dance Rock project that will surely enchant you with its unique sound. Charles Why and Laur are the 2 pages of the two-page book called ‘Golem Dance Cult’. Years ago, while they were still teenagers, Charles and Laur actually formed their first band together. They each followed their own artistic paths, and now, in these peculiar times, they have come together for a new musical endeavor under the name “Golem Dancing Cult” (Laur is based in France while Charles Why was in the UK and is currently in Australia). Laur is the singer of this ecstatic project and Charles Why plays bass, guitar, cigar box, handles programming, sampling, adding various traditional instruments such as Shruti Box, Tibetan bowl, gong, rain stick, etc. while manning the production. Their vast musicality is what sets this duo apart from any other duo.

I discovered this project through their latest release named ‘Dalek Rhetoric’ which is a unique blend of profound sounds and vocals that will surely send chills down your spine. The track packs some innovative use of instruments. The guitar riffs are so powerful yet very subtle. The beauty of this track had me right off the bat. As I played the song, I instantly knew, this is going to be something that I will be playing on repeat for days to come.

Do give this track a go and let me know how you feel about it in the comments section below!
