Tony Frissore Designs an Audio Haven with “Self Soothe”

Tony Frissore has been on a serious musical journey, cutting his teeth on funk and jazz in Boston and New Orleans, then linking up with DJs and club owners all across Europe. That’s a lot of late nights, a lot of different sounds, and a lot of understanding what moves people. These days, he’s back in Cleveland playing with Pop Avenue, but his production work shows he never stopped collecting influences from everywhere he’s been.

“Here is music that doesn’t fill the silence but makes room inside it, a gentle hand on your shoulder when you forget how to slow down.”

Frissore made “Self Soothe” with a specific goal in mind. He wanted to create something that actually helps you breathe better, that gives you a place to land when everything feels like too much. The production is intentionally cozy. The way he’s structured the groove, it naturally matches the rhythm of deep, calm breathing. Frissore describes it as “a small pocket of peace you can return to whenever you need grounding.”

Whether you’re building a morning routine, looking for something to decompress with after long days, “Self Soothe” delivers. Give it a listen next time you need five minutes to remember what calm feels like.
