The Mess:Age is a London rock band led by vocalist and founder Glen Brandon “Ziggy,” alongside bassist Paul Gold (known from X Two Tribes) and guitarist Jaime Page (Trilogy, Dark Universe). Ziggy’s creative process channels his inspiration from what he calls “spiritual realms,” refusing to follow trends or mimic what’s already out there.

“The cost of freedom is paid in courage.”
“SACRIFICE” was born during lockdown when Ziggy found himself alone in the studio with nothing but his thoughts and frustrations about the world around him. The frustration of that time, as we watch the global events unfold, question official narratives, and wrestle with spiritual and philosophical ideas. The song holds space for both reverence and rebellion by creating a track that speaks to believers and seekers alike.
The track pairs images of dawn, iron crosses, and Mother Gaia as the chorus emphasizes the message of liberation through sacrifice. Gold’s bass work grounds everything while Page’s guitar adds layers that enhance rather than overshadow the core, letting Ziggy’s vocals carry the emotional side of the track.
Give it a listen. The Mess:Age might just surprise you.
