Helladdict Proves Thrash Metal Still Has Teeth with Their Latest, “Sudden Death”

From the industrial heart of Santiago emerges a band named ‘Helladdict’. The six-piece group consists of two vocalists, two guitarists, a bassist, and a drummer. These guys know their metal history as they draw inspiration from Chilean acts like Criminal, Dorso, and Dogma, while also tipping their hats to the big names like Metallica, Megadeth, and Slayer.

“Where time stops, thrash metal begins its eternal dance.”

“Sudden Death” is a song that seizes the aggressive sound that thrash metal is all about, while keeping everything catchy and punchy. The guitars have that sharp, cutting tone that slices through the mix, and the drums pack a serious punch without overwhelming everything else.

The dual vocal approach works really well on this track. Rather than feeling cluttered, having two vocalists adds range and gives the band a more dynamic feel. One minute you’re getting growled aggression, the next you’re hearing more traditional metal vocals, and it all flows naturally. Helladdict just focuses on writing good thrash metal songs with strong hooks and solid execution. The production gives it a modern edge without losing that underground feel that makes thrash metal standout in the first place.

The band has already released four studio tracks with plans to complete a full album by the end of this year. Based on what they’ve shown so far, that’s something worth looking forward to. Helladdict delivers on all fronts with “Sudden Death”, making them a band to watch as the Chilean metal scene continues to grow and evolve.
