Meet ELIX, the Houston-based producer who’s been quietly building a reputation in the underground electronic scene. ELIX has been building from scratch in their home studio, experimenting with a toolkit that goes way beyond the standard setup most artists stick to. ELIX is diving deep into a whole arsenal of plugins to create something genuinely fresh.

“After Party” represents ELIX’s vision of minimal tech house designed specifically for the dancefloor experience.
The title of “After Party” says everything you need to know. From pounding basslines to drums so loud and crisp they cut through any sound system to synths that build tension until the whole room is bouncing. The vocals sit perfectly in the mix, never fighting for attention but always present enough to give the track its personality. They didn’t try to overcomplicate things or show off with unnecessary flourishes. They instead focused on what actually matters: keep the crowd moving.
The upcoming shows at Psychedelic @ DTD and The University of Alabama gives ELIX the platform they deserve. ELIX is about to bring this energy to live crowds. And “After Party” is going to hit different when those club speakers get involved.
A good dance music is about creating those moments when the room collectively wants to let loose.
