Born in 1960 in Arnstadt, Germany, Zilli Henneberg is a musician who was drawn towards the world of music at the very young age of fourteen when he was gifted his first instrument, a guitar, and started playing music in his school rock and blues band. His early exposure to music led him to greater talents in the industry and shaped him into the brilliant musician that he is today. His witty approach towards music endears him to his audience and ever-charming instrumental sounds in his songs make for a delightful listening experience always. His latest song “Friede in der Welt” explores a very sensitive topic and world peace, in the signature style of Zilli.
“Friede in der Welt is a satirical and musical slap to the authorities by Zilli Henneberg.”
Melodious, witty, and genius, these are a few words that pop into my head when I think about the song “Friede in der Welt” by Zilli Henneberg. The title of the song literally translates to “Peace in The World”, courtesy of my Duolingo classes I understood most of the song. The song talks about important issues like war, education, and health, which all boils down to basic human rights. The peppy music contrasts the serious topic of the song, which in my opinion makes this track so special. Easing up people while singing about such a sensitive topic is one of the many talents of Zilli Henneberg. I love the vibe that the saxophone exudes in the song, and it is fascinating to peek into the mind of Zilli. If you want to experience something memorable then go and listen to “Friede in der Welt” right now!
