“The groove doesn’t stop. Wait A Minute and let the beats take over you.”

‘Wait A Minute’ is the latest EP by Toronto’s emerging DJ/music producer Andre Zimmer. The EP contains four songs and starts with the title track followed by a remix by Vitess. Wait A Minute is a raw groove that will make you wanna move your body and it sets a jolly mood for the EP. The song draws inspiration from the Berlin house scene. The flavors of the 90s are kept intact in the songs and the project also upholds the label’s tagline ‘Smile When You Dance’. The infectious rhythms hold the power to make a room full of people bounce and groove.

The soft synth sounds along with the fast paced house drums, create a profound sonic effect. The vocals are hip-hop inspired. This adds the rawness and authenticity of hip-hop into house music. The compositions are minimal yet very impactful. Such tracks are great for long sets, to ensure that your brain doesn’t get saturated with music and your body keeps moving in a state of trance.
