_SHOE is an extraordinary electronic music producer from Castelcucco, Italy. He used to be a part of a metal band in his teens where he gained musical experience and acquired the art of composition. The rhythmic flavour of metal is still seen in his synth wave tracks. This kind of blending of genres brings a brand-new sound to the table. With his creativity and out-of-the-box compositions, his tracks truly stand out. _SHOE’s main focus was to learn a skill through which he could decide to make music at any point and be able to do so. Metal was not quite a flexible genre in that sense. The use of various instruments and the need for a band to be able to properly perform or jam was a huge constraint for the artist. This led him to learn about electronic and synth wave music in particular. The artist started putting out music in 2024 on his Spotify and since then, has been consistently delivering bangers after bangers. To date, he has already dropped an EP (Echoes of Dominion) and an album (The Ritual) along with various singles that carry his dark musical persona that lean towards electronic and new wave sonics. A must-listen artist if you are looking for a creative electronic producer.

The Ritual is not just any other average electronic album but is the one that has a deep, underlying storyline. The album unfolds with each track and conveys a story open to be interpreted by the listeners. Essentially, the tracks make you imagine a digital landscape with political powers and agendas in play, how the two interact with each other and how the spiritual aspects work along all of this. The complex dynamics will keep you engaged and the immaculate musicality will trigger some deep emotions in you. The bass rhythms used in the songs are pretty unique and seem to draw inspiration from metal music. High-paced leads and expansive pad sounds are a staple in the album. While the overall sonics are soft and subtle, some hard/grungy synth sounds make an appearance once in a while. The whole project was recorded in _SHOE’s home studio. This artist does not perform live at the moment but plans on some live events, for the Season 2 presentation, starting in 2026. It will be an outworldly experience for all those who love synth wave music, so stay tuned.
