Fabúla is a musical artist hailing from Iceland who is making songs nothing less than magic. The enchanting melodies and the mysterious atmosphere that the songs bring with them give the listeners an outworldly listening experience. Her artistry is not limited to music but she uses visual arts, movements, and acting to add to the vividity of the stories that she conveys through her songs. The artist is academically accomplished in dramatic arts, composing and jazz piano. Her first solo dates back to 1996 which was an album called “Cut My Strings”. This album got Fabúla a bunch of audiences who fell in love with her music. She kept releasing music and evolving as an artist to become what we consider nothing less than magic.

With His Eyes Closed was released with a stunning music video that captures some details of the eventualities that happen in a European city. The static shots used in the video look vintage and intentionally capture randomness. The song is lo-fi and features some really dark and mysterious melodies that go very well with the raw music video. The song was produced by Fabúla herself, in collaboration with exceptional guitarist Birkir Rafn Gíslason. His riffs add twisted flavours to the already amazing song. The song has some parts with creative use of trumpets that blend into the rhythmic guitars like salt blends in water.
