Alex Starling’s ‘Maybe We Lost It’ is a song that seems to have been escaped the capsule of time

Alex Starling is a London-based emotive singer-songwriter who was an integral part of the Ou Est Le Swimming Pool until the unfortunate demise of the lead singer Charlie Haddon in 2010. Alex set out on an artistic journey that deviated from the plan he had in mind before. He started playing solo shows in Germany and the US. Alex explored the world of synth music further and in the process was crafting his emotive and deep sound in the genre. Alex writes songs not only for his original singles but for other artists as well. His expansive range of songs has been heavily featured in Sky Sports, MTV and on US TV shows such as the ABC NETWORK drama Red Widow.

“Maybe We Lost It will take you on a nostalgic journey through your memory lane. Alex’s lyrics escape the framework of time and offer of magical perspective on deep emotions.”

Maybe We Lost It is a synth-based, mellow track that will fill your heart with many questions and take you on a deep emotive journey through captivating melodies and deep lyrics. The song has a melancholic vibe and it captures the feeling of seeing someone you love change in front of your eyes. The melodies get intense as we move forward through the song while the chorus keeps us anchored to the essence of the song. A masterpiece in my opinion.
