Arcade Apocalypse is a DJ/music producer from Florida who is making waves in the electronic music space. His music has that grunge to it and he embraces his artistic rawness through his tracks. With unique bass rhythms and kick sounds that will bounce your chest, his music is something that can turn any party up. Along with bass-heavy progressions, Arcade quite often uses synth sounds in his tracks. The synth sounds from the olden eras create a very fresh sound when combined with the elements of modern electronic music. Arcade Apocalypse is an artist waiting to be found and once he catches the spotlight, there is no stopping. His music carries a vibe and character that is unmatched yet has the potential to stick to people’s minds. I am a fan of his older songs like ‘Thought Bullet and ‘ Lion Man’. His music has something unique which just lets me know that this song is by Arcade Apocalypse and no one else.

“Arcade Apocalypse’s music vision is pretty unique. You will find both, rawness and electrifying energy in his tracks.”
Arcade Apocalypse & Expect Magnetic are two tracks that are a collaborative effort of Arcade Apocalypse and Jason Banning (Gas Station Pizza, Alphæus). The first track, Arcade Apocalypse is a song that captures the chaotic character of today’s world. The spooky melody used in the track will set the tone for you. The introductory vocals are sung with vigour and passion, creating an almost satanic atmosphere. The use of a unique mid-bass sets the song apart.
The second song, Expect Magnetic has heavy use of synth sounds from the 80s. The track sounds like a background score for a classic movie from that era. With laidback vocal delivery and an energy-filled drum pattern, the track will make you groove. Both the songs have a very mysterious feel to them which is weirdly captivating. The song has intense sections where a different melody plays and the singer modulates his vocal tone to add a different energy to the track.
Both songs are pretty unique and something that I have never heard before. They are a very fresh take on how retro sounds can be blended with electronic productions to create a vivid sonic landscape.
