Laughing Cats’ Jerk will take you back to the deepest romance you have experienced in your life

Lauren Schiff and Tony Fredianelli are the two talented musicians behind the Laughing Cats duo. Both the artists came from completely different walks of life but destiny and their shared love for music brought them together. Tony grew up around music as his father, was the vintage singer Ronnie Gaylord of The Gaylords. Tony passionately practised the guitar and attained excellence. He was a 13-year member of the multi-platinum band Third Eye Blind. On the other hand, Lauren started off as an actor in NYC. She is an NYU MFA Graduate Acting Program alum. She did some work as an actress and was also exploring her love for music at that time. She co-wrote a song called ‘Goodbye’ in a film called Wrong Place. When the two met, they discovered a musical chemistry that was very rare to find and eventually started working on songs together. And that is how a fabulous music duo was born.

LAUGHING CATS

“The Laughing Cats are doing a great job of keeping the 80s energy alive through their music. The nostalgic vocal deliveries and hooks that make space in your mind, they are poised to serve to a wide range of audience who are looking for that essence of the olden times in music.”

Jerk is the second track from the duo’s upcoming album ‘Funny Money’. The song features the signature 80s vibe that the group carries and comes from a very vulnerable position. The song is packed with elaborate lyricism and a deep sense of introspection. The artist takes the blame for her faults and embraces the power of accepting your own mistakes. The song is apt for settings where the vibe is still taking shape.
