ReSeT (Ryan Tram) is a Canadian electronic music producer who is expanding the boundaries of electronic music with his unquestionable creativity and influences from a multitude of genres like Indie RnB Synthpop, Lofi Hip-Hop, and Future Bass Dream Pop. He plays multiple instruments and his vast sound bank serves him well while creating music. Apart from music, Ryan is a visual artist and he blends together both of his arts to create live sets and music visualizers that truly stand out. He presents his sonic landscapes along with motion graphics and glitchy analogue visuals. He also specializes in synchronized light shows and projection-mapped installations that take the live show experience to another level. This artist is bringing something fresh to the table every time. In 2020, he released two albums (Take Times and H O M E) and in 2024, he is back with his magic in the album Digital Voyage Vol. 1. ReSeT is currently working with Andrew Huang on his videos, and sonics and is exploring various new styles.

Digital Voyage, Vol. 1 is a testament to ReSeT’s artistic evolution. After 2020, this is the first time he has dropped an album and this one was highly awaited by the fans. At the same time, ReSeT did not disappoint either. The album follows a theme of a gamified world, where emotional turmoil hits and the music describes how it feels to be separated from a close one. The poetic use of colours in the album was a standout aspect for me. The songs constantly draw parallels between the real world and the digital world and these parallels and quite relevant. Not to forget, ReSeT is also an excellent visual artist and he did not miss out on the opportunity to make the album more vivid with a visualizer that captures the storyline. The video includes some mind-bending visuals that show a very artistic digital world. My Top three from the album include the first song- Elevate, Human and Plan To Be.
