Roman Angelos is a music project that is the brainchild of producer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist Rich Bennett based out of Brooklyn, New York. This project was started due to Bennet’s love for film scores and old-school recordings. Apart from Rich Bennett who is on guitars, this music project consists of Brittany Anjou on vibraphone, Ben Zwerin on bass, Spencer Cohen on drums, Dennis Boolyoins on percussion, Rose Rutledge on flute, Kai Sandoval on trumpet, Nadav Nirenberg on trombone, and Deidre Rodman-Struck on piano. Roman Angelos recently released a follow-up album to a brilliant album named “Tropical Nites” which they released earlier this year, and we were fortunate enough to come across it.

As the name suggests Tropical Nites: Remixes and Lost Tracks is a tropical album which is the sibling album to the album “Tropical Nites” which is being considered for the Grammys. Roman Angelos has managed to bring together the best musicians out there to create this masterpiece. Talents like Ursula 1000, producer Scott Solter, Blake Madden, piano/synth player Frank LoCrasto, and Brazilian singer Mari Rosa are involved in this album. The album starts off with a very chill remix of the track Tropical Nites which will totally relax you and prepare you for the next tracks that are more towards the lounge house style of music. All the songs have an essence of their own and are forever memorable. The album is set up at a very good pace and the arrangement of the songs is perfect. The entire album is an immersive experience that puts you in a state of trance through its music. It is a very uplifting album that can pick anyone up from a bad mood.
