Adrian Brockless

“A mesmerizing instrumental piece that will resonate with the souls that find poetry in life.”

‘Da Sealkie Wife’s Sang’ is Brockless’ artistic expression that encapsulates how he reimagines local folk music with his touch of Renaissance music. The song carries a story and a sweet and pleasant atmosphere with it. The harmonized violins create a vast soundscape that can melt your heart and tickle your soul. Moving to Shetland has enabled him to produce art in various forms. One of them being the song and the other being his production for the audiobook version of naturalist Bobby Tulloch’s book ‘Shetland: An Islander, His Islands and Their Wildlife’. In this work, you can find two further classical arrangements of Shetland folk melodies.
